Cinesonic 4:
Between Sound & Music

Sited within the Media Arts area of RMIT University, Melbourne, the 2001 CINESONIC Conference was created and devised by Philip Brophy (then lecturer in Audio Visual Concepts and Soundtrack) with production management by Adam Milburn; publicity/promotion by Scott Goodings; technical assistance by Jennifer Sochackyj (AV technician in Media Arts & MA in Media Arts); & production assistance by Nat Bates (Honours & MA graduate in Media Arts). Banner printing by John Bilan (AV technician in Media Arts & MA candidate in Media Arts) and Andrew McLaughlin (AV technician in Media Arts). The website is co-designed by Philip Brophy, Haima Marriott & Isobel Knowles (graduates in Media Arts) and housed within Communication Studies courtesy of Adrian Miles. Administative back-up and support for the Conference is provided by Shane Hulbert (Media Arts administrator). Overall support and commitment was provided by Les Walkling, senior lecturer & course co-ordinator of Media Arts.

The 4th CINESONIC received major support from the City of Melbourne, Cinemedia, and the Australian Film Commission.
