The original Media Arts website was co-designed Philip Brophy & Haima Marriott (graduate in Media Arts) and housed within RMIT Communication Studies courtesy of Adrian Miles. Administative back-up and support for the Conference was provided by Shane Hulbert (Media Arts administrator & MA in Media Arts). Overall support and commitment was provided by Les Walkling, senior lecturer & course co-ordinator of Media Arts.

The 3rd CINESONIC received major support from the City of Melbourne, Cinemedia, and the Australian Film Commission.
