If Bruce Willis’ (long frozen) sperm was impregnated into an anime, the result would be Roy Revant: bounty hunter in Solty Rei. If the sperm got highjacked en route to Japan and was tampered with by a Russian porno ring, pre-pube android Solty would be the result. If this was a typical flippant internet review, it would say Nikita meets Power Puff Girls. If you could read between the lines, you’d realise that I‘m making Solty Rei sound a lot better than it actually is. Volume 1 kick starts this cutesy cyborg bounty action story, one suited to young kids – or maybe their dads.
